I brought my cat to the emergency care during the weekend as he couldn't walk at all. We could tell he was in a lot of pain on his right leg. One of the doctors, completely misdiagnosed my cat. The doctor said my cat has an infection due to another cat bitting him, on his LEFT leg. We brought our cat back to the hospital later that day when we realised the doctor checked the wrong side of the leg. When we brought my cat back, the doctor didn't even come out and apologise (she apologised on the phone and gave some lame excuse saying she had a busy day), my cat was taken away by the nurse with no explanation. I only found out later (after everything was done) my cat was sedated again (twice on the same day) and x-rayed without my knowledge. No papers signed so therefore no consent given. The x-ray shows that my cat had in fact broken a bone and needed surgery. The doctor recommended hospitalisation but we couldn't afford it so we took our cat back and said we'll bring him in Monday morning to consult with a specialist regarding his surgery. When we took our cat back home that night, we discovered one of my cat's front paws had a bandaid on it. We called the doctor and she explained to us that she just assumed we would hospitalise our cat so she instructed the nurses to shave his front leg and inserted IV drip without our consent once again. I still had to pay a hefty amount after the visit. The doctor kept repeating she did was not charge me for the x-rays to salvage the situation. I don't think she understand the consequences of her actions.

Simply the best place you can take your fur babies.

P.S. The specialist doctor that I consulted this morning agrees with me that the doctor I saw on the weekend misdiagnosed my cat.

I've always had good experiences when I've brought my cat here for specialist appointments. The veterinarians are great and it's an essential place for future veterinarians to learn.

Can't recommend this place enough - they kept my dog alive when he was close to deaths door following severe heat stroke. Thank you so much guys!

I brought my dog Mellie in for treatment on Sunday. After being charged a large fee, my dog is still sick three days later.I requested to see a vet with a follow up today and was told I would be charged again, even though my dog is still very unwell. The receptionist was extremely rude and short when I expressed me concerns and not interested in trying to help resolve my dogs issue. Sydney uni vet, you are a disappointment and unprofessional in your dealings. Lauren Batman
